The City of Escanaba will start work on a busy section of Third Avenue North Wednesday morning.
The entire area between the highway and Stephenson Avenue…including the Stephenson Avenue intersection…will be closed starting at 7:30 in the morning. Crews will be doing grading work there, and the road will re-open once that gets done.
The city says that it will need more closures for actual paving, and putting down the lines, later on.
If it rains, the project will be postponed to another day.
