At approximately 8:09 p.m. on Saturday, Escanaba Public Safety officers were dispatched to 819 N. 19th Street in regards to a house fire.
Upon arriving, officers observed flames coming out of the two front windows of the house. An interior attack on the fire was conducted and the fire was suppressed. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Escanaba Public Safety was assisted by the Ford River Township Fire Department, Rampart, and the Delta County Central Dispatch Center.
