A virus blamed for a spate of serious respiratory infections across the U-P has claimed at least one life.
Officials at Public Health Delta and Menominee counties say there are 11 cases of the so-called adenovirus currently under investigation. The location and name of the person who succumbed to the illness has not been revealed. On the upside, officials say no new cases have been identified in the past two weeks. To avoid getting sick, take the same precautions you would with the flu or colds, they say.
