Rock star and Michigan native Ted Nugent will appear at an event in Marquette on Thursday.
He will be at the Rippling River Resort (located near Marquette Mountain) with Republican state senate candidate Ed McBroom, GOP Lieutenant Governor candidate Lisa Posthumus Lyons, and and current state senator Tom Casperson.
The event is open to the public. It runs from 11:30 until 1:00 on Thursday.
“Mr. Nugent has made a point of fighting for the people that find themselves staring down ridiculous government rules and officials,” McBroom said. “Come and hear from him how you can help Michigan be on the right path to protect your rights in the future.”
