It’s Community Foundation for Delta County Week from now through Friday.
The philanthropic organization has a number of special events scheduled.
On Monday, they’ll honor first responders with gift cards.
On Tuesday, veterans will be treated to a free lunch from Noon to 1:30 at the Delta County Veterans’ Center.
Wednesday, the foundation will pay the seniors’ share of meals on wheels.
Thursday, the foundation will celebrate its 25th anniversary at a sold-out event at Island Resort and Casino.
On Friday, area high school seniors can compete for scholarships with essays on volunteerism.
