Police have interviewed three people of interest following gun shots fired in Ishpeming Tuesday night. Authorities responded to a report of several shots fired at a residence on Iron Street.
Upon arrival, they determined that a drive-by-shooting had occurred. Three suspects fled the scene in Buick that was later found abandoned.
Ishpeming police have since questioned 24-year old Brandon Schiefel of Ishpeming, 26-year old Alicia Kerkela of Ishpeming, and 29-year old Michal Fletcher Jr. of Marquette.
All three deny involvement in the shooting, and were released. The incident remains under investigation.
