Markkanen Easily Wins Re-Election To Western U.P. House District

State representative Greg Markkanen easily won re-election in Tuesday’s election, sending him to Lansing for a third straight cycle.

Markkanen, a Republican from Hancock, uniofficially ended up with 30,485 votes (63.2 %), compared to Democrat Kim Corcoran’s 17,761 votes (36.8%).
