Marquette’s new Texas Roadhouse at 3440 US-41 West, opens Monday, February 26.
This week, as the restaurant trained servers, line cooks, hosts, meat cutters and all employees, local police, firefighters, healthcare workers and guests at Janzen House, The Warming Center, and Marquette Regional History center were first to try the restaurant’s legendary steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs and made-from-scratch sides.
Prior to opening, the restaurant will host invitation-only pre-opening events and raise money for Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter and U.P. Whitetails Association of Marquette County, Inc.
“We love animals and are passionate about conserving Michigan’s natural beauty and the wildlife,” says Managing Partner Jacob Fritz. “Both of these charities enhance the well-being of our community and we’re proud to celebrate our opening by supporting these amazing organizations.”
Marquette’s new Texas Roadhouse hired 220 new employees. Once open, the restaurant will serve dinner-only Monday through Thursday from 3:00 –10:00 pm, Friday from 3:00 – 11:00 pm and be open for lunch and dinner Saturday 11:00 am – 11:00 pm and Sunday, 11:00 am – 10:00 pm.
