Meijer stores in the Upper Peninsula have given $20,000 to the community as part of their recent Meijer Team Gives campaign. Team members at each store collectively chose a local nonprofit to donate their $10,000 to, like the Escanaba Meijer team chose to donate $5,000 to Delta County Cancer Alliance and $5,000 to Pathways Ray of Sunshine.
These philanthropic efforts are not limited to the Escanaba community. Here are a list of other Upper Peninsula Meijer stores with the nonprofits they dedicated their Meijer Team Gives donation to:
- Escanaba:Delta County Cancer Alliance and Pathways Ray of Sunshine
- Marquette: Community Action Alger/Marquette and Sail Disabilities Network
Through the retailer’s third annual Meijer Team Gives program, Meijer donated over $10 million to over 1,700 local nonprofits, chosen by the local Meijer team members across the Midwest. Meijer Team Gives started in 2021 and annually empowers Meijer store and distribution facility team members to select and donate to nonprofits meaningful to them and their local communities.
