The Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce (GINCC) held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of Upper Peninsula Brewing Company.
GINCC is proud to have Upper Peninsula Brewing Company as a new member.
Upper Peninsula Brewing Company is located at 342 Rail Street in Negaunee. The building was constructed in the nineteenth century. It started as a meat-processing facility and was most recently a furniture warehouse.
The beautifully refurbished interior acknowledges the structure’s industrial roots at the same time as being a warm and inviting place to socialize and enjoy high-quality craft beer.
The event was attended by GINCC board members as well as representatives from Accelerate UP, Innovate Marquette SmartZone, and Lake Superior Community Partnership. Members of the Founding Patrons Mug Club were present to toast the grand opening.
