The Bonifas Arts Center announces the winners of Northern Exposure XXV – the foremost and longest-running annual art competition in the Upper Peninsula. Known to showcase some of the best and brightest artists that the Upper Peninsula has to offer, this year’s event went above and beyond what supporters of Northern Exposure have come to expect.
Sponsored by the Bonifas Arts Center, Crawford Funeral Home, East Ludington Gallery, Frame Crafters, and Michigamme Moonshine Art Gallery, the Placement Awards were presented to the following:
First place ($500) to Brian Burroughs for Our Imperiled Incubation, second place ($300) to Carol Irving for B&W Obsession, and third place ($250) to Taimur Cleary for Burn (Off and Up)
