Both lanes on the M-28 overpass and the M-28 ramps at the I-75 interchange near Dafter in Chippewa County are scheduled to be opened on Monday Oct. 29.
Temporary traffic signals will be removed. The contractor may use shoulder closures to finish some remaining work. A 10-foot width restriction remains in effect in the work zone.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $1 million to reconstruct the ramps. Work began in June and is expected to be completed by Nov. 5.
