Upper Peninsula Congressman Jack Bergman says that there’s federal help on the way to help with water infrastructure projects in the district.
“USDA Rural Development is investing in four major water infrastructure projects in Michigan’s First District, including two in Houghton County which was hit by major flash flooding on Father’s Day. Rebuilding our infrastructure is vital to ensuring the success of our rural communities. Loans and grants through USDA Rural Development are a key component and I applaud the Trump Administration for continuing to focus on Michigan’s First District. I will continue working to push these and other infrastructure projects forward in the days and years ahead.”
