Northern Michigan University Athletics is celebrating 50 years of Women’s Sports at NMU throughout the 2019-20 season. The year-long celebration features helmet stickers, patches for teams to wear on the uniform, stickers, magnets, and lapel pins.
The official 50 Years of Women’s Sports logo was created by Gabriela Martinez, a senior on this year’s NMU Volleyball team.
NMU Athletics asks fans to contribute to this celebration by providing some of their favorite and most memorable moments throughout the history of NMU Women’s Sports. Throughout the year, fans will also have an opportunity to hear from contributors to women’s sports at NMU.
