Fire did major damage Monday to a home near Escanaba.
Public Safety says the blaze broke out just before 11 Monday morning at 5429 K Lane in Wells Township.
A woman and several pets were in the home but got out okay. Several departments battled the fire for about three hours, battling frigid sub-zero conditions.
