The Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance will host the 2025 Northern Michigan Policy Conference on January 31 at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa in Acme, Michigan. The Alliance represents a coalition of 18 chambers and economic development organizations and over 7,000 member businesses from across northern Michigan.
Registration for the conference is $75 per person or $500 for a reserved table of six with priority seating until December 31, 2024. After January 1, prices rise to $100 for individual tickets. Register at https://traverseconnect.com/nmpc.
The Northern Michigan Policy Conference is designed to leverage diverse strategies to enhance northern Michigan region’s standing as a world-class place for businesses, residents, visitors, and students of all ages. This year’s policy conference will be a collaborative, business-driven experience delivering actionable goals to energize and provide vision.
“The Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance is excited to announce the program for the 2025 Northern Michigan Policy Conference,” said Caitlyn Stark, incoming chair of the Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance and president of the Cadillac Area Chamber of Commerce. “Attendees from across the Northern Lower and Upper Peninsulas of Michigan will hear from policymakers and leaders on topics central to the Alliance’s key policy priorities, focusing on ideas and solutions for economic development, talent attraction and retention, and rural growth and development.”

Messer, Jr. CEO of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and president and chair of the Michigan Strategic Fund, Sarah Lucas, director of the Michigan Office of Rural Prosperity, Michelle Richard, deputy director of MiLEAP, Janie McNabb, CEO of Networks Northwest, Marty Fittante, CEO of InvestUP, and Val Handy, deputy state director for the USDA.
