On Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET, the Delta County Foster Care Resource Fair will be held at Bay College’s Joseph Heirman University Center, 952 Conference Room in Escanaba, MI.
The event is free and welcomes foster families, youth, and community members from ANY COUNTY in the Upper Peninsula interested in learning more about the foster care system and available support services.
Attendees to this family-friendly event will have the opportunity to enjoy a free lunch, raffle prizes, candy, and Halloween games while gaining access to:
Well-child visit resources and health care providers
Youth development programs
Specialized foster care resources
Legal services
This event is organized by Upper Peninsula Health Plan, Upper Peninsula Health Group, and Child and Family Services of the U.P. Inc., with the aim of offering vital support to foster care families, prospective foster parents, and youth.
