Ore Dock Brewing Company’s expansion project in downtown Marquette is nearing final stages of construction.
In development since 2020, and breaking ground in 2022, Projekt Rosewood has aimed to sustainably redevelop the historic trestle corridor, transforming the vacant and condemned, downtown property at 112 Front Street into a vibrant community asset.
“The expansion not only addresses the needs of our growing brewery, but continues the revitalization of a historic block of Front Street that has served as the gateway to downtown Marquette for over a century,” Andrea Pernsteiner said.
Spaces within the renovated site will begin to open in late fall connecting the Spring Street brewery to the new property.
The 3-story building will feature a 4-season biergarten, spacious indoor-outdoor event venue extending the existing Ore Dock Community Space, and upper level residential units. The lower level will be host to The Trestle, a craft cocktail lounge featuring an expanded selection of Superior Sourced beverages featuring Ore Dock distilled spirits, wine, cider, and NA beverages with a menu curated by legendary mixologist Alex McCracken (Steinhaus/The Marq.)
The ongoing aspects of the project include solar panel installation, efficiency improvements to production facility, and the addition of a kitchen as the Spring Street tap room adds food service to its expanding on-site offerings. Stay up to date at oredockbrewing.com and on facebook or instagram.
