The Michigan Department of State, along with the Department of Attorney General and other community partners, are teaming together to assist Upper Peninsula residents at three free Road to Restoration legal clinics in August: in Houghton/Hancock, Kingsford, and Marquette.
Volunteer attorneys and MDOS staff will be on site to guide eligible drivers on the path to restoring their driving privileges.
These clinics have made a life-changing difference for many people. While walk-ins will be accepted, those who are impacted are encouraged to register ahead of time at Michigan.gov/RoadtoRestoration or by calling 211.
The dates and locations of the clinics are:
- Aug. 13 – Upper Peninsula Michigan WORKS!, 400 Quincy Street, 8th Fl, Hancock (10 a.m. to 3 p.m. / Walk-ins accepted until 2 p.m. as space permits)
- Aug. 14 – Michigan Army National Guard, 401 South Carpenter Avenue, Kingsford (10 a.m. to 3 p.m. / Walk-ins accepted until 2 p.m. as space permits)
- Aug. 16 – Northern Michigan University, Northern Center – Ballroom IV, 2nd Fl, 1401 Presque Isle Avenue, Marquette (10 a.m. to 4 p.m. / Walk-ins accepted from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. as space permits)
