Do you farm for profit and/or have land and are wondering what to do with it? Do you want the latest crop, livestock and farm management information for the U.P.? If so, Michigan State University Extension’s Agriculture for Tomorrow Conference is something you won’t want to miss!
It will be held on the Bay College campus in Escanaba on February 20, with a chance for you to get the latest information and ideas from MSU Extension, other farmers and industry experts. There will be 16 different sessions offered, including topics for big farms, smaller farms, conventional & organic, diversified farms and homestead (non-commercial) producers. Each participant can attend four break-out classes.
Keynote Address: The History of UP Agriculture and Leo Geismar, the First Superintendent of MSU’s Upper Peninsula Research and Extension Center. Join UP Historian, Dr. Russell Magnaghi, on a fascinating journey through 125+ years of agricultural grit and innovation in the UP!
Participant Registration: Register early, before February 10, to receive a $10 discount!!! Cost to register is $30 by mail or online. After Feb. 10, 2024, the cost is $40 to register at the door. Please note that Walk-In Registration is cash or check only. Lunch and materials are included in the cost.
Sponsor/Exhibitor Registration: Agricultural companies and organizations are invited to sponsor the conference and/or exhibit at the event trade show. Sponsorships of $50+ are eligible for one complimentary trade show booth and conference registration. Non-profit organizations are eligible for a free trade show booth. If you plan to sponsor the conference or represent a non-profit, please use the Sponsor/Exhibitor Registration process and indicate if you plan to attend the conference sessions and/or exhibit at the trade show.
