Northern Lights Child Advocacy Center (NLCAC) is thrilled to announce the official grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the agency, on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 2:00 PM. The event marks a significant milestone for the organization, which has been providing crucial services to children and families since opening its doors to families in September 2023.
NLCAC is dedicated to responding to child maltreatment and preventing child abuse by offering high-quality services including child-centered interviews, advocacy, case reviews, and more. The upcoming ceremony is the culmination of efforts to establish the center as a comfortable and safe space for children who have experienced trauma on their journey to healing and justice.
Members of the community, local businesses, and organizations are invited to join NLCAC, for the grand opening and ribbon-cutting event. The ceremony will take place at Northern Lights Child Advocacy Center 3210 US 41, Marquette, MI 49866, starting at 2:00 PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility, learn about NLCAC’s mission and services, and witness the official ribbon-cutting.
Additional tours of the agency will be available during the week of February 5-9 by appointment, and open for walk-ins on 2/6/2024 between 1:00 and 7:00 PM. Anyone who tours the agency during this week-long celebration will have the opportunity to win local prizes!
