A home near Escanaba was heavily damaged by fire Sunday night.
Public Safety was called out to H 25 Road in Wells Township just after 10:00 Sunday night. They found the back of the house fully engulfed in flames on their arrival. Officers battled the blaze for some five hours. Several other departments assisted as well. No injuries were reported, and no cause of thr fire has been determined as of yet.
