A Sunday, May 29 holiday weekend special will kick off the 2022 season of stock car racing at Eagle River Speedway in Eagle River, Wisconsin with an earlier-than-normal start time of 6:30 p.m.
Veterans and active military will also be admitted to the races free during the Memorial Day weekend special. At the conclusion of the show a fireworks display courtesy of Harry’s Fireworks will take place at the D-shaped, third-mile clay oval.
As a bonus to the fans a pair of additional divisions will be in action during the holiday weekend opener. The local pure stocks will be in action as well as the Dairyland Vintage Series racers featuring race cars from yesteryear.
The track’s weekly six division show will be in action which includes Chef Rene’s B Mods, Sweetwater ERS late models, Coffen Construction stock cars, Eagle River Dock and Lift street stocks, JD Archery & Paintball 600 micros and Halsey Fab/Dan’s Service 300 micros.
Regular Tuesday night racing begins June 7 at 7:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to checkout the track’s website eagleriverspeedway.com or the track’s Facebook page for up-to-date information. The GPS address for the track is 3973 Cloverland Drive, Eagle River, WI 54521.
