Schools across Michigan will be back in session on Tuesday, besides the districts that went back to school last week through a special waiver from the Michigan Department of Education.
In Escanaba, the Holy Name Catholic School chose to continue starting after Labor Day to keep in line with the local public school calendars.
Holy Name students were on hand on Tuesday, August 27th, however, at the school’s annual Open House. Students were able to unpack their school supplies and get a look at where they will be spending their days for the next eight months.
Students also enjoyed an ice cream social.
