ORIGINAL STORY:
Fire broke out Tuesday afternoon at a large apartment complex in downtown Marquette.
The Pine Ridge Apartments…located at Pine Street off of Front Street…caught fire at just after 12:00, with large plumes of smoke coming from the roof area.
RRN’s Jason Lee and Derek Micelli tell us that Marquette firefighters were on the roof putting out the flames, and traffic was blocked off in the area.
The fire was put out within an hour, but Marquette City Police were asking people to stay away from the area. There are more than 100 apartments in the nine-story complex, but so far, there have been no reports of any injuries.
