Timothy Lukenda of Brimley is the president and CEO of Extendicare Inc.
He previously served as a board member of the Health Care Association of Michigan and the American Healthcare Association. Lukenda holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame as well as a bachelor’s degree in laws and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Western Ontario. He will replace Douglas Bovin.
Lukenda will serve the remainder of an eight-year term expiring Jan. 27, 2026. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
