Bay College Campus Activities Board is proud to announce the first Bay College Day of Service!
Beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5th, Bay College students and employees will be learning about the importance of service to the community and transported to several sites in the community to spend the afternoon volunteering.
Participants will then return to the college for a cookout, then enjoy a concert by national touring band Vinyl Theater.
Volunteer sites have been sponsored by the Delta Animal Shelter, Escanaba City Parks, the Delta County Trail Network, Tri-County Safe Harbor, the Escanaba Public Library, the Bonifas Center for the Arts, and Bay College among others.
The Vinyl Theater concert is open to the public, and tickets are just $2 for students, and $5 for general admission. Formed in Milwaukee, Vinyl Theater has shared the stage with 21 Pilots and Dashboard Confessional. Signed to record label Fueled by Ramen, Vinyl Theater is currently on their national Starcruiser Tour.
Vinyl Theater performs at 7:00 p.m. EST on Friday, October 5th, in the Besse Theater at Bay College.
The concert is the capstone to the Bay College Day of Service, where Bay College students and employees will be volunteering at various sites across the Escanaba community and Bay College. Day of Service participants will receive a free ticket to Vinyl Theater.
