The historic Landmark Inn hotel, owned by Graves Hospitality and several local investors since 2015, is joining the Tribute Portfolio–Marriott International’s family of independent boutique hotels.
Moving under the Tribute Portfolio umbrella opens the door for a multimillion-dollar investment into the Landmark, will allow travelers to receive Marriott and Starwood rewards, and bring greater recognition and appreciation for the Landmark’s unique historical attributes.
Although the Landmark Inn will be part of the Tribute Portfolio, both the hotel’s name and ownership will remain unchanged.
“We are really excited to have this iconic hotel become part of the prestigious Tribute Portfolio of hotels.
Affiliating with this collection of unique, independent hotels, will provide great exposure to both the Landmark Inn and the wonderful community of Marquette,” said Benjamin Graves, President of Graves Hospitality.
Improvements will include bringing updates to the guest rooms, while still maintaining their original and historic charm. Another change will be the return of the once popular Crow’s Nest restaurant on the hotel’s sixth floor.
“Our goal is to celebrate the rich history of the hotel and the Marquette community. Some of my earliest memories growing up in Marquette revolve around The Crow’s Nest. We’re excited to bring this cherished venue back to life,” said Matthew Mering, Director of Development/Acquisitions at Graves Hospitality.
Marriott International’s Tribute Portfolio includes hotels around the world that offer intriguing travel experiences with unique personality and design.
