A committee will meet in Escanaba Tuesday afternoon to talk about the hiring of a new Delta County Treasurer.
Tom Sabor is retiring at the start of 2019, but his term runs through the end of 2020. The Treasurer’s Appointment Board is made up of the county clerk, prosecutor, and probate judge. It will meet at 2:00 Tuesday afternoon at the county courthouse.
Sabor has been the county treasurer since 2012.
