There will be plenty of activity in the Manistique harbor next week as the Coast Guard will be performing pollution response exercises.
The precautionary tests will evaluate how well the agency would respond in the case of an oil spill. Along with the Coast Guard, federal, state, tribal and local agencies will participate in the exercises from September 15-21.
Expect to see boats, helicopters, and unmanned aerial systems during that time.
