Community Action Agency Senior Services Transportation Program in Menominee County has received a $1,500 grant from M&M Area Community Foundation.
Granting of the funds, to be used to purchase fuel, was announced jointly by MMACF Executive Director Paula Gruszynski and CAA Executive Director Julie Moberg.
Using safe and clean buses and vans featuring well-trained and courteous drivers, the service is based out of CAA senior centers in Hermansville, Menominee and Mid County (Daggett).
In the most recent fiscal year, the program provided more than 7,400 rides covering almost 48,000 miles.
