The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating David James Murray from Ely Township.
Murray is a 41 year old white male, 5’10”, 160lbs, with brown hair. He is believed to be living in the Diorite or Negaunee City areas. David Murray’s attached picture is from 2011.
The Sheriff’s Office has obtained a two count warrant for Murray. The first count is for felony Operating While Intoxicated – 3rd Offense. The second offense is for misdemeanor Operating – License Suspended, Revoked, Denied – 2nd or Subsequent Offense. These charges are from a crash that occurred on July 3, 2018. Murray is believed to have been driving a 1999 Ford F-150 while intoxicated and rear-ending a 2004 GMC Yukon that was occupied by a mother with three children.
