MDOT is investing about $2.1 million to mill and resurface 16 miles of M-94 in Alger and Marquette counties from US-41 to Fair Street in Chatham. The work also includes the expansion of an existing carpool lot at the intersection of M-94 and M-67. The project is covered by a three-year pavement warranty. The carpool lot work will begin Aug. 22 and the paving work is scheduled to begin in early September.
