If you see some smoke coming from the Island Beach Road area of Marquette over the next few days, not to worry.
The Marquette City Fire Department will be training on a vacant home at 3152 Island Beach Road. The structure is scheduled to be demolished. Fire officials say the structure will not be burned—that the smoke will be coming from a smoke generator used for training.
