Former NMU WIldcat Goalie Dies In Traffic Crash

A former goalie for the NMU Wildcats hockey team died Saturday in a traffic crash in Minnesota.
KAAL TV dot com reports Michael Doan was killed when his car went into a ditch and struck a utility pole near Rochester. The accident happened at about 8:30 Saturday morning.
The 25-year-old Sault Ste. Marie native played for the Wildcats from 2013 to 2015. Prior to his NMU career, he played for the Soo Birds of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League.
