The Michigan Department of Transportation is completing the reconstruction of US-41 in Hancock, which began in 2016.

In the final phases of the project, MDOT will invest $2 million to reconstruct Front Street between Reservation Street and the Portage Lake Lift Bridge, as well as and the southbound US-41 connector ramp to eastbound M-26. Work is scheduled to begin on Friday, and the project will be with us through July 21st.
