Walk for Prevention

The Walk for Prevention is a fun, non-competitive 5K walk sponsored by Schoolcraft County Community Prevention. It is an annual event held by many different agencies that promote the prevention of Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence, Bullying, Sexual Assault, and Suicide. All funds raised stay in Schoolcraft County to further prevention efforts and to provide educational experiences for the community. This years walk will be held August 11th, 2017. Architecture of D. Frederick Charlton Lecture and Tour, Monday, July 17th Join us for a 2:00 lecture at the Museum and a 3:30 walking tour (meet on Courthouse steps) on D. Frederick Charlton, the architect who designed the Water Works building where the museum is housed and several other structures in Marquette.
