Three people have been arrested on various warrants after they tried to run away from police in Iron Mountain.
Officers say they saw a man and a woman walking on Carpenter Avenue at just after midnight Wednesday morning, and when they spotted police, they started running.
The 21-year-old woman was eventually arrested and held on an outstanding bench warrant out of Delta County.
Officers searched for the man for quite some time, and eventually, the 28-year-old was found inside a home on South Milwaukee Avenue. He was arrested on a felony warrant out of Outagamie County Wisconsin.
Then police found another 23-year-old man inside that home, and THAT man was arrested for four bench warrants out of Menominee County.
This only happened after the people inside that home refused to open the door, so police had to get a warrant from the Dickinson County Prosecutor.
A team of officers from four Dickinson County police agencies were activated, and at 5:15 this morning, the two people were arrested.
Two others were released at the scene. No names have been released.
