VA Medical Center Holds Workshop On Tobacco Cessation

The Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center will be hosting a healthcare presentation on tobacco cessation, better sleep, and other healthy living changes followed by a question and answer session with the Medical Center Director at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017.  The presentation and Q&A session will be held in the Holman Room located in the basement of the medical center’s main building and is open to all Veterans, their families and friends, and the public.  The VA Medical Center is located at 325 East H Street in Iron Mountain.

The VA Medical Center provides these VA healthcare program presentations on a quarterly basis while also providing an opportunity for Veterans and their families to bring up any questions, comments and concerns with medical center leadership.

“We want to provide our Veterans with important health care information that may be of benefit to them while also getting their input on the care we provide and answering any questions they may have,” said Jim Rice, Medical Center Director.

Any questions can be directed to VA Public Affairs Officer Brad Nelson at 800-215-8262, extension 32001.
