Lake State To Unveil New Building During Friday Ceremony

Lake Superior State University holds a public ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony for its newest building, R.W. Considine Hall, this Friday at noon.

Speakers include LSSU President Tom Pleger, Provost David Roland Finley, Student Government President R.J. Holman, and Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder and/or other state officials.

A reception and student-guided building tours follow the formal ceremony.

The 44,000 square-foot, $13.5 million facility features classrooms, faculty offices, lounge areas, a student commons eatery, and a board room that overlooks north campus. R.W. Considine Hall will be the home to LSSU’s Lukenda School of Business, and serve as a resource for all programs offered by Lake State.
